Iris Garden
Iris Garden, Iris Air series, began as an exploration of the essence of the iris. Its soul so to speak. So I looked deep into its velvety depths and was struck by its exuberant greeting. The velveteen petals fluttered in a soft spring breeze and reflected the colors around it, including sky, flowers and us viewing it. Again I find myself wishing to merge the air of the garden with the petals edge and have it breath with energy. I am seeking to create the feeling of being one with the flower and it with the garden of life.
