An autumnal visit with a rusted wreck of a truck under a spreading oak tree is enhanced by a leaf saying hello too. After this image froze the moment in history the autumn breeze blew it onward. Thanks to a moment of photographic interaction it lingers here to say hello to you too.
This moment resulted from a hike up a steep hill and down into a ravine and back up the next hill to a truck that had attracted photographic attention. After several different days of hiking in and photographing the truck, one particularly magic day resulted in more favorite photos than the other days combined. A rich rain saturated light combined with the scent of fresh air put an extra spring in the hike to the truck while the leaves were landing by perfect breezy arrangement.
Today the truck is still at rest under the oak tree alive with lichen.
